Emma Gilbert is strong & competitive. She was the first to find she was a mermaid. One day she was going for a early morning swim & 10 seconds after she dove into the water she grew a tail. She has a mom,dad & little brother named Elliot. Kim (Cleo"s sister once told Elliot about Cleo"s tail & that Emma & Rikki are too & so the secret was out. Luckily when Elliot tryed to pour water on Emma she froze it with her power. Emma can freeze things instantly by making a stop sign with her hand. Emma is not on H2o just add water for season 3. The reason is because she is starring for a new movie called Messengers 2 The Scarecrow. Emma is played by Claire Holt.

Emma is the best swimmer with feet and tail. She represents a parent because of lack of parental supervision.Even though she"s only 16. She usually calm,kind, & quiet. But when she becomes a mermaid though shes loud and rude unlike her good natural self when she"s a human. When she freezes things the tempature can drop under -0 F so her power is as hot as ice.
